Here at VHH Dachshunds we are dedicated to preserving the purebred Miniature Dachshund in both Wirehaired and Smooth coated varieties. As an AKC Breeder of Merit, We strive in maintaining breed type and adhering to the written standard through conformation dog shows, genetic health testing, temperament evaluation and understanding our historical and current pedigrees.

 

There is nothing like owning a Dachshund and we hope many can enjoy in the experience of having one as a family companion. 

We enjoy our dog hobby almost as much as the dogs do!

We do not often have puppies as our dogs are our pets and actively compete in sport and conformation however we will have an occasional litter to maintain our bloodlines.
 

We help preserve the purebred Dachshund through membership to the Dachshund Club of America, Western Pennsylvania Dachshunds Club, Metropolitan Baltimore Dachshund Club, Keystone Dachshund club, AKC,  OFA, CHIC & AKC Bred with HEART

Please note we do not sell puppies to anyone living in the city of Richmond VA due to residents forced to spay/neuter by four months of age. If you live in a town/state or area that has this law or ordnance we will not place a puppy with you due to the huge health risks it poses on our pups.
